About this service
Render is a coloured, weather-resistant coating applied to the outside of a building. We work with modern silicone renders for excellent water-shedding and self-cleaning, mineral renders for breathability, and lime renders for traditional and older properties.
Whether you need a finish over a new EWI system or a full re-render of an existing wall, we prepare the substrate properly, apply the right base coat and deliver an even, professional finish.

A properly installed silicone or mineral render system typically lasts 25+ years before needing more than a clean or local touch-up. Lime renders on suitable substrates can last decades longer.
Sometimes – if the existing render is sound and well-bonded, we can overcoat with a new base coat and finish. If it's hollow, cracked or failing, we strip it back first.
Lighter colours hide minor wear best and tend to suit traditional UK homes. Mid greys and creams are very popular. We can show you a colour chart with your quote.
Silicone renders are hydrophobic – rain runs off rather than soaking in – which means dirt and algae don't bed in as easily. They stay looking cleaner for longer than mineral or older acrylic systems.
